Hero Worship - The art of Jae Lee

This is also the second entry for my new series (ahem), "Another Fabulous Lee." Jae Lee is a multi-talented comic book artist who was born in South Korea in 1972 and came to America five years later with his parents. His first drawing job was at Marvel Comics where he worked on Namor, the Submariner. In 1993, he joined a group of major comic artists in initiating Image Comics, where he worked on WildCATS and Youngblood Strikefire, then a year later started on Hellfire, the tale of a fallen angel. By 1998, he was back at Marvel to work on Inhumans, Sentry, Captain America, Transformers, Fantastic Four, Batman, and Stephen King Dark Tower. Music is "Winged Fury," by Midnight Syndicate.

HIs stuff looks edgy I grew up with his Image stuff but I don't like his Dark Tower stuff =( kinda edited

Great vid, although 5:06 was a Larry Stroman cover. (X-Cutioner's Song, X-Factor).

Jae Lee was an architect before he was a comic book artist, I heard...which would explain his precise linework.
