The DFRobotShop Rover -- Arduino Compatible Tracked Robot (Basic Kit) is a versatile mobile robot tank based on the popular Arduino Duemilanove microcontroller. The Rover uses the popular Tamiya twin motor gearbox and the Tamiya track and wheel set. The DFRobotShop Rover PCB incorporates a standard Arduino Duemilanove (surface mount ATMega328), L293B motor driver (connected to pins 5 to 8), voltage regulator and prototyping area while contributing to the mechanical structural of the robot. There is a shrot clip of the DFRobotShop Rover at the end of the video going over rocky terrain.

  • i did something wrong and cooked my circuit do u sell replacements?

  • @hhhh1997 We do sell the main board separately - please contact us via the support center and specify RFQ RB-Dfr-57. How did you fry it?

  • I build my robot with this tutorial and the motors are not independent. What is my mistake?

  • @marceloricardoquinta Regrettably yes. So long as you connected the motors separately (two wires from one motor going to one pair of terminal block and the two wires from the other motor going to the other terminal block), then the issue is likely the code and which terminal block you connected which wire to. You may need to modify either the setup (change which wire goes to which terminal) or the code (essentially reverse the motor direction).

  • The mind can only concentrate on one thing at a time.

The music or the picture or the subtitles.

You can not communicate anything technical with emotional music on top.

These comments should have been understood say Junior year in high school.

  • @abpccpba We certainly appreciate the feedback. If the music is distracting, we suggest you turn off the volume. Unfortunately a real-time build would take about 1 hour, so we encourage people who are assembling the DFRobotShop Rover to watch the video through once and then use the "pause" button for each step.
