  • Song sounds awesome, ya it is different but it is still better than the effort from their last 3 cds

  • @TheCodith I don't know... there are some pretty rockin' songs on Gravity

  • @Beansner yeah, I'm in full agreement with you. But the guys have been at it for 20 years, and it seems that more mainstream, mature and mellow music is something they prefer doing now; it's a path they want to take at this stage of their career. I respect them enough to support them in whatever direction they take their music. If I had it my way, 2011 would see "Clumsy: Part 2", but we can't hold on to the past if they want to take their music in another direction.

  • I love the unique qualities in both the "old" sound and the "new" sound from OLP. This new material here, and also heavyweight, sound something new altogether; and I mean that in a good way.

  • burn burn was a great album

  • @Slacktoo Source? I'd like to see such an interview.

  • @danieldrums9 fucking agree! I don't want some band that keeps to the same fucking sound and formula. And good bands sometimes have to take the poppy route to do that. But OLP still does it well

  • I like this, and I really didn't think I would. It sure isn't something that sounds like a song from their albums in the 90's, but I really like it for what it is. I'm happy it doesn't sound like Burn Burn either.

  • @BEEZERWAX34 Precisely. They criticize you for growing and changing, even though they're doing so honestly, but they'd be damn quick to accuse you of being stale and tired if you went the AC/DC route and stuck rigidly to one sound and formula. You can't win with people, and I really feel a lot of people just miss their past more than they miss a band sounding a very specific way.

  • burn burn was fantastic album, and I'll never understand why people say it sucked. I think people these days are programmed to say "This band's new album sucked, it was nothing like the old stuff" It wasn't as good as Naveed or Happiness, but it wwas fuckin sick.

  • i agree burn burn burn was a great album

  • I want to hear how it's changed, because this has such a good vibe to it...And I disagree with the Burn Burn haters...That was an excellent album...Not everything needs to sound like 1997.
