Very weird interview questions..... I do like his explanation for God, we see eye to eye on more than one thing!

Conor Oberst is intriguing.

It's no wonder he's so uncomfortable, you don't just start off with these questions in an interview. You work up to them. First you ask basic things to get the interviewee comfortable and let them lead the interview. I'm sure eventually Connor would have said something that could have prompted a question about God or war and lead to an interesting opinion, but you have to let the interviewee get to that place. Goodness!
