DALLAS, I'm going to help you out here, because you must be new to both comedy and visual entertainment. See, within visual media, people use cheats such as cheat cuts, special effects, manipulation of time, etc. to achieve a desired effect. When paired with comedy, you get things such as The Three Stooges. No one is that incompetent and still gets employed, but it's still funny. Suspension of disbelief is the technical term for it. Hopefully, this will help you enjoy comedy in the future.
