Bose 101 Speakers and Bose Amplus 100 Amplifier

Hi, here's another test of the Bose 101 speakers now there running off a Bose Amplus 100 amp :). I also mounted them above my other music equipment.

what is the bass like on these speakers will they stand up to partys in a house and gaming???

@ja50n2011 The Bass is really good, considering there size. If your not stupid with them by whacking the Bass control to the max, if you keep the eq flat they can go bloody loud and the quality is fantastic. - These would be good for a house party as they are small and mighty, however if your looking for heavy bass, i would get a sub and run them as a 2.1 system. - Im running a Bose Acousimass 5 Series 3 sub with them now and they sound amazing all together. :D

@shabaz31 Hi, yes you will need an amplifier to power the speakers! The laptop plugs into the amplifier and then from the amplifier to the speakers. A standard Hi-Fi amp would work nicely - perhaps about 50 watts per channel at 4 Ohms would drive the 101's nicely. :D

Can you please tell me if I buy these, can I hook them up with my laptop? Or do I need some amplifier?
