Murasamejou was one of the early games released for the Famicom Disk System. Probably one of Nintendo's most secret games. This one is rare but fun nonetheless.

  • I wonder how many people know that the main character for this game, Takamaru, has been playable in later consoles. In Samurai Warriors 3, one of the modes is Castle Mode. The story for that mode is that Takamaru was thrown into the past while chasing Murasame.

  • i was always wandering wut that game is. i heard the song in ssbb always curious of wut it was.thanx

  • As strange as it sounds, this makes me wish Nintendo would release Captain Rainbow in the US ( Takamaru appears in it )

  • There's a sequel called Nimble Sakura Warrior for the 3DS as 3DS Ware featuring Takamaru in it. :)

  • this song reminds me from bomberman songs

  • He get's randomnly attacked by ninja's that jump out of bushes? that happens to me every time I walk to school too! o_O

  • he should be in ssb4

  • Wow. I'm surprised Takamaru hasn't been in a Smash Bros. yet. He's got all the tools necessary to be in a fighter.

  • Hello, Takamaru fans! I have made a Takamaru for Super Smash Bros 4. page and I need all the support I can get to petition him for the next game. Search that page on Facebook and like it, please. He also appearred in Samurai Warriors 3 a year after Brawl came out, making his first appearance on American shores! :)

  • The engine seems to be the same or very similar to the one in the first Zelda, but used a little differently (mainly, doing the "level division" and not giving that much freedom as in Zelda).

It could be possible, and interesting, to see a somewhat remake of this game with ZeldaClassic tools.
