here is a first attempt at making a video of my Buell. it doesn't idle cold very well because of the aftermarket cam but I'll post it anyway.

  • Its been a while since you posted this but maybe you will get this. Ok Im picking up an 00 model cyclone tomorrow with only 3k miles. I was wonding what heads the cyclone came with stock. Did they have the thunderstorm heads or were they like the sportster heads.

  • I'm pretty sure that they are the thunderstorm heads.

  • Can you post your setup? What exhaust system is that? What cam did you choose and are you happy with it?

    Thanks

  • The exhaust is custom made and is routed way different than stock (i didn't like the hot leg) it was pieced together using pre bent ("j" bends)tubing then pieced and welded together. then i used a Megs exhaust tip (intended for automotive applications)It is straight through except for a small baffle.

  • The cam is aftermarket Buell part straight from the dealership. with the intake, exhaust and cam the carb had to be rejetted but i can't remember what the size is. I couldn't be happier with the setup and i have never had the bike on a dyno but i'm guessing i put around 135 HP to the rear wheel. 4th gear wheelies just by twisting the throttle.

  • fyi...your engine has thunderstorm heads and it (along with all sportster engines) has 4 cams not 1

  • thunderstorm heads came black

  • DIRTY. I want a Buell real bad and the M2 is what I'm looking for. Give it a little rev if you post another video.

  • im really exited about the new video, when is it coming?

  • that's wild man....I'm glad you're happy with it. Sounds awesome and good work on the header! Do you have a part number on that cam handy? I'd like to check it out especially since it's from the dealer...rather than going with a different aftermarket company. Stock carb, just rejetted, right?

  • np, i look forward to that movie :D
