Home remedies for the cold/flu: Hydrogen Peroxide

I test out the home remedy of pouring hydrogen peroxide in your ears to cure/prevent the common cold and flu. My initial results are that it provides some immediate relief from congestion and sore throat but doesn't speed up the recovery.

It probably only helps in so much that you THINK it helps.

If done later, when the infection has established, as seems to be the case here the infection will take its course and you will only get some if any symptomatic relief, given that at this late stage the infection is no longer at the killing stage and has long spread elsewhere.
