The Telecommunications Act of 1996 specifically restricts Corporate ownership to 49.7% (not 49.6 or 49.8) because that's exactly what Rupert Murdock and NewsCorp owned at the time. That's when the restriction of ownership of TV and Newspapers also went out the window. Hence the birth of Fox News, since they no longer had to classify their programs like "Hard Copy" and "A Current Affair" as "Infotainment". Welcome to the no-spin zone (hahahahahahahaha)

You should see my high school—the most politically involved and intelligent students I've seen watch Fox News incessantly. Almost no one else even watches news but me. I didn't even need to watch Fox to see why they lie. I find it sad to know that the most influential people at my school watch propaganda and recycle it right back.

When I was in 5th grade, I would look at the news to see the weather for when i went to school.... The only news channel that came in clearly enough was fox news...(the channel 13 one)...I am..I am sad 'bout that. Now i don't really look at news at all.
