Hm, that's a tough one. I guess it all depends on how much you fear them. As long as your fear does not cause you to mistreat or harm the snake I guess it would be fine. Obviously, don't do anything that would be outlandish for a beginner snake keeper or ophidiophobic, like getting an anaconda. Go small and get yourself something like a king, corn, or garter snake and work your way up. I think in time keeping a little guy will help conquer your fear so that you can love snakes even more.

how much was hybrid anaconda.did u get it at hamburg. i just copied your tank set up he loves it.

The hybrid was $120 and I got it from a friend. Glad you like the tank setup.

It is just a gravel paludarium, with gravel spread thin on one side and thick on the other.
