Unfortunately I never got the chance. The Freedom Tower wont have an observation deck like that, it wont even be as high. The Freedom Tower is a pathetic excuse for a replacement.

The twin towers was a symbol of new york. They represented new york. The twin towers where an unique structure. And what do we get as a replacement? Only one tower that is nearly, just nearly as tall as the twin towers. The freedom tower will not have an observation deck unlike the the twin towers. And of course, 2 towers are better then 1. rebuild those damn buildings. Freedom tower look like shit,

GREAT video! First time I was there was in '82 - I was 10 at the time and simply in total awe with the towers. The roof was closed due to high winds so the inside observation deck has to do. I recall the windows, but to get right up to the window..you had to walk down 4, 5 steps, there was a seat there.I finally got to the roof in 86..few more times after that. So glad the new tower is making progress. 81 floors, & you can now view live pretty darn close to the vantage point at earthcam-dotcom

@GadinhoTheLegend I have so many pictures of the Twin Towers the way they were in the 1970s through the 1990s. The Lower Manhattan skyline is not the same without the Twin Towers. I miss the Twin Towers very much and I wish that they could rebuild but stronger and better than they were before.

@azar78345able My Uncle where on the observation deck of the south tower back in the late 90's . , I've Got a big poster of the New York Skyline ( lowermanhattan & Midtown skyline ) on my wall. lowermanhattan skyline with of course the twin towers. its actually a pretty nice picture of the skyline cause its not taken from a standard position. i love new york even more with the world trade center. @GadinhoTheLegend New York is not as great is it used to be!! I used to live in New York City from the late 1980s to the late 1990s and it was very different back then. I use to love that city as a child growing up. Now things have really changed since 9/11. New York is not that good anymore like one time and because of that I don't want to go and live there ever again.
