The Coming of the Lord

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

Did you know that the term thief in the night is a reference to the day of the Lord which occurs after the tribulation? 2 Peter 3:10 shows this.

While the "Pre-Wrath" theory does teach preparedness,( a far cry from the "pre-trib Fraud, that is built-up around the "Firstfruit order" of the "24 elders",

@sorens70601 Can you tell me the difference between: Jesus will come as a thief in the night (quietly, suddenly, quickly - a twinkling of an eye) vs. Jesus will in Great Power and Glory and EVERY eye shall see Him. Do you know anything about the Judgment Seat of Christ, where it takes place & what the Rewards are? (Hint: Crowns are one of the Rewards - Just like the elders are wearing in Rev. 4:1-5) Do you know that Jesus' VOICE sounds like a TRUMPET - Rev. 1:10 & 4:1 (Rapture)

....while the sacrifices are performed daily in the "tent Tabernacle". The big "clue" here, is the anoncement that they have "found" the "Ark of the Covenant", that's when things will really accellerate. I believe Christ will "build " a New Temple, when he returns for teh 'restoration of all things'.(Acts.3:20-21) which begins with the millenium.
