At the beginning of the 2009 Kenyan Premier League season, Gor Mahia was playing in the CAF cup competition. The team was thrashed 5-0 by APR of Rwanda at the Nyayo Stadium and the fans called for the sacking of the then coach James Siang'a. The new squad was yet to mature and among the prospects was George Odhiambo, a teenager from Thur Gem High School. 12 months later, Gor have finished fifth in the league, and scooped seven awards at the footballer of the year gala night. Part of that success story is George Odhiambo, popularly know as blackberry.

Hmm, congrats to Randers for signing an apparently bright talent(not Randers fan here), but to be honest, this video does not show me much of his talent. But then again youtube videos are never really the true "proof" of talent. Let's see what e can do in the Superliga (or 1. division), before we judge him.
