@MishaRose22 Through certain actions a character takes, can their focus change or can they be "un-l'Cie'd?

Btw ppls, spoiler (sort of, since it's already kind of past this part) about the sister.

So, she's an I'Cie, right? And every I'Cie has a specific Focus, like explained below. If you couldn't really understand, the sister, Serah's Focus was to bring in more people to that site- which would make it so they became I'Cie as well.

Lightningg,, Snow, Vanille, Sazh (or whatever his name is), and Hope all went into the place, so she did bring more people there. So, her Focus was completed.

When a l'Cie is chosen by the fal'Cie, they not only recieve magic and the ability to summon Eidolons, but they also receive something called a 'Focus', which is like a task.

If a l'Cie dies before completing that task, they become Cie Corpses, which are zombie-like monsters. However, if a l'Cie completes their Focus, they are transformed into lifeless crystals.

@MishaRose22 Why'd she freeze up like that? Did that have something to do with the "Prophecy" or "Fate" that was assigned to her by the fal'Cie?

The tattoo on Serah's arm signifies that she is a l'Cie, meaning she was marked by fal'Cie, which are god-like, supernatural beings. Many of the other characters in the game also bear the markings of a l'Cie. Each has it's own location on their bodies.
