  • stock is the sh slower? because im about to buy one and if its the slower ill be pissed as fuck.

  • @HexagramMan Yes, the SH is slower stock vs stock. Not by a lot but a little bit. Honestly preludes aren't worth it at all. They have so many problems, major oil burning being one. It's a lot more than your usual honda equipped with vtec. You'd be better off getting another car entirely. You'll like it in the beginning but soon you will regret getting one, trust me.

  • @KoukiR which is the fastest or more reliable motor?

  • @HexagramMan Between the two? They have the same motor, H22. It's just the added weight of the SH and the ATTS that makes it a little slower. I'm telling you they are not worth the money at all. IDK what your looking for so I can't make any suggestions on others cars.

  • @KoukiR Nah. They're not. They're great cars. Oil burning is an issue, but its not huge. Ludes are definitely worth it...either that or a n s2k...both have great handling and great power. Lude is a little heavy, but its not a "obese" car. Let's also remember that they are at the youngest 10 year old cars. No, the Prelude isn't the greatest car out there...maybe not even for the money. But if you're looking for a 2 dr, specifically Honda/Mitisubishi under 10k, go with the Lude.

  • @thebowmanation You might not have owned one. The oil burning wasn't a small issue it was a big one. Pulling over everytime you drive to fill oil isn't a norm, even for a honda. Again I don't know what he's looking for so I don't wanna make any suggestions. But one thing I have to say is my experience with the car and the couple other friends that had the car. Which all had problems.

  • @a7xfansrh I don't know about other people, but I just love their handling. I'm not big on having a fast car cause legally there's few places you can actually use that power. I just love how my Prelude feels on those windy roads. Windows down, sunroof open, listening to my tunes while the sun beats down... that's what its all about IMO :)

  • @KoukiR if you have to pull over everytime you drive then maybe you should get your engine checked. i rebuilt my engine and i go through maybe 1.5-2 quarts every 3-4k miles vtec-ing a lot!

  • WHY MUST WE HAVE THIS (BLACK) PRELUDE ON (BLACK) PRELUDE FIGHTS WE ALL WANNA GO FAST..

  • @TheVidRater007 Same here bro!! :)

  • @nismo32skyline Prelude S are not sold in the US and make 220hp at the crank... higher compression (11:1) different cam and closed deck block.. SH 200hp at crank 10:1 compression. Both have atts unlike base model preludes... very similar cars and were considered best handling car under $30k in 97 awesome cars and a lot of fun.

  • What's the difference between prelude S and prelude SH? I'm trying to get a prelude but I wanna see what's better

  • @TheVidRater007 - I have been privileged to own and drive a Prelude SH in Utah mountain twisty highways and in the twisties of the Pacific Northwest and what you say is true, the handling on these cars is heaven for drivers! Good handling with vtec noise kicking in :)

  • Lol...so little suspense when either of you push the pedal. Consider upgrading to at least twice the cylinders and you might end up being able to see why everyone thinks ricers are so gay...commuter cars with Pepsi cans on the end of their 2" exhaust. Baha.

  • after i bought that base in the vid i had it pushing over 200 whp

  • i am 17 i have a 1998 honda prelude SH h22a4 it has 240hp, i have a CAI, headers and an exaughst system thats 45 extra hp, mine responded to bolt ons very well. this coming summer i am adding a performance chip to add about 30-45 more hp

  • wow all that and only hit 110? drive a 300zx just once..lol
