@damien1999 It could possibly be a Century Arms but it's unlikely because they have colt uppers and carrying handles and this one, like you said, didn't have the colt markings. It's most likely a different brand or a parts kit. We'll never know for sure, though, cause he didn't show us the other side of the mag well.
@GROOVY846 my guess is that if it IS a real gun i doubt it is a colt (or at least the upper receiver) it doesnt have the colt markings underneath the rear sight like the colt ones have. also there is no definitive way of knowing what brand it is because you never see the other side of the gun where the branding (and model make) are. id be curious to see the other side of the gun.
@dabbchang the gas tube comes out of the barrel underneath the front sight and goes inside the triangular foregrip into the upper reciever.
@GsxRaider full autos are allowed to be owned in America by civilians by getting a class 3 license
@villageguitar4 there were more than just the "3 prong" flash hiders used on the m16a1's in Vietnam. there was also the "birdcage" which came in the late 60's as shown on this gun.
@cadetprivate95 there were a1's with fencing around the mag release
