For some reason I never think of God or religion when listening to this song. I think of the vastness of the Universe in all its different forms and complexities; the steam of time that persists universally independent of human perception; and the need to have a sustained relationship that feeds off of never taking for granted the close, sensitive, tactile, auditory, olfactory memories that creates an individual impression of someone.
