very cool, beautiful "smokey" voice, with nice range --really good! Fits the country/pop/folk zone really well. I see comments here on "how" you should do things --don't listen to any of that, be who you are and keep pushing that! I lived in Los Angeles for 11 years and worked in the industry... And the aprox ratio to making it big is about 10% talent - 90% hard work :) I swear it's like training for the Olympics -think like an athlete --you'll be huge ! -ok I've had too much coffee...

@waynealexsmith haha thank you so much!! Yes unfortunately the "side of the industry" people see is the BS American Idol and other shows where its all about the stage show and range. Fact is that I'm an artist and completely my own person. I do what works and my music is my specialty. So its funny when people watch one cover and compare me to the original artist instead of going to MY original material which is written to suit my voice. :)

@undefined244 No, she does that in the song too. She's got such a great range!! Good luck with your solo and feel lucky to have a cool choir teacher to let you do this.... my choir teacher is probably the least supportive person ever for other kinds of music. lol.

ya, the comment about the makeup??? I'm like... what? and holding back? come on, it's cool, it's not the church choir or something. It's perfect the way it is, and it's darn good the way it is. -softer style acoustic guitar/singing is actually really effective... people tend to lean in and actually listen, rather than filter it out.. a good example of that is Ray Lamontagne, he whispers some of his stuff, and it's awesome
