The paths of mendicancy 1. Liège

The paths of mendicancy [original title: Les chemins de la mendicité] is a documentary movie presenting the story of three beggars of the city of Liège,in Southern Belgium. Those three beggars have different ages: two of them are in their forties and one of them is not more than 20 years old. In this little interviews they explain the reasons that made them become beggars and they explain the details of their life in the world of begging. Behind the words we can also suspect: what is true of everything we are told? As well, independently of the words we can see the character of those 3 persons and their strong and weak points, how they act and how they tell us that they live.

In this first part of this short movie: the stories of Eric, the man of the giant cat and Giacomo, the 'charismatic' and maybe hypocrite ´master´ in his profession .
