I still have my 12" single from the 80s and will never abandon it. Formats come and go, vinyl sounds better and is pretty resilient.

@watchtrillions - It's been released on CD multiple times, although as far as I know most recently in 1995. I have both the early 90s release and the 1995 release, which included several extra tracks, 2 new songs, versions with vocals in Hindi and some remixes.
Amazon has it. Go buy it now, and stop depriving yourself! :-)

@RareEighties - Nope, I discovered this wonderful album on CD in early 90s, so there was a CD release before the '95 one. However, I did by the '95 release because there were several additional tracks: a couple of new songs, some versions of "Third Eye" tracks with vocals in Hindi and a couple of remixes of "Ever So Lonely".
I first bought "Third Eye" on CD used about 20 years ago, but I first had to talk the shop owner into selling it to me. :-)

I have an orignal LP from the 80's and refuse to spin the disk because I cannot find it on CD and do not want to risk damaging the platter. What is keeping Steven Coe from releasing this timeless work on CD?

still got this 12" version, treasure it. Met Sheila recently, lovely person

When I bought this then, I accidently put it on the wrong speed on the record player, and thought, feck, I must have got some male singer version of the song.. But, once I noticed my error, I thought, actually, this way sounds good too.

fanfookintastik!!!thanks 4 poppin this 1 up. dint bill nelson hava part w/this band?
I've look on the internet at the original album featuring this song, I think the album was called Featuring Shella Chandra, do you know how easy it is to buy the album on Compact Disc? Generally I still buy albums on CD because I like having a hard copy of my music, and I really like this song a lot.

@Lachlant1984 The original album that had this track was called Third Eye by Monsoon, it was remastered with extra tracks in 1995 and released on CD under the title 'Monsoon featuring Sheila Chandra'. It's still availalbe through Amazon and copies pop up on ebay from time to time if your looking for a bargain.

@RareEighties Actually I just bought the CD on CD Universe the other day, but because CD Universe are based in the US and I live in the land down under, (Australia), it could take a while for it to arrive. I take it the 1995 remaster is the first CD release of this album, that's the version I ordered. I can't wait for it to arrive.

@Lachlant1984 As far as I am aware, it is the only CD version of this album. I'm pretty sure 'Thrid Eye' was never released on CD,
