This is a great song by an amazing Texas Country band. The song is about Hurricane Katrina and the impact, and struggles it had on the people of New Orleans. Features a Muted Trumpet solo by Ephraim Owens.
Artist: Reckless Kelly
Song: God Forsaken Town
Album: Bulletproof
Wherever the hell they are from, they are brilliant! And Cross Canadian Ragweed is "Texas Country" as it is called, but they are from Oklahoma. "Texas Country" is not a PLACE, it is a sound. Reckless Kelly has it. In SPADES!

I'm pretty sure there has been a genre of music around for the last 40 or so years that is known as Texas Country, and I'm pretty sure that its one of the several categories that RK falls into. FWIW.

@poesbeetle It's actually Red Dirt, but good effort.
