Jasmine's POV

I had told my mom later that I would be staying the night at Regina's. That was normal so she didn't really care. We hung out with Will and Regina over dinner, which was nice. The tension William caused was gone and it was really fun. That night Joe and I laid on their living room couch and talked .. and kissed some ... or a lot ... We spent the next day together and then it was over. He left. The time went by so fast. I wished that he didn't have to leave, but I knew he did. We'll get to be together soon enough. We'll just have to make it through this seperation, first. I think we'll be alright. No, I know it. We'll make it. It has been a few days since he left and I'm already going crazy, just laying on my bed, thinking about him. My mom walked into my room and threw down a magazine in front of me. "What's this?" She scoffed, "you tell me." I gave her a confused look then picked up the magazine and flipped it over. "'Joe and Jasmine. Winter Love?'" I read the head line and turned white. "Mom!" I looked up, "I ca-" "Keep reading," she interrupted. I looked back to the magazine in my hands and quickly flipped to the article. I took a breath and started to read aloud, "'Joe Jonas was spotted on March 27th, this past Saturday, with alleged girl friend, Jasmine Nayel. They were spotted taking a walk one afternoon in the snow. The couple were seen holding hands and hugging, and even shared a few kisses.'" I paused and looked at the pictures featured on the page. I'll have to cut them out later... I skipped to the end, "'Have they gotten back together or did they never break up? Write to ... '" I trailed off and looked up at my mom a second time. "Well?" I opened my mouth but couldn't think of anything to say so I just snapped my jaw shut and looked down. She sighed, "that's what I thought... Jasmine, I thought we went over this?" "I love him," I muttered. "You're 17!" "You were 17!" My mom sighed again, "Jasmine, that isn't fair." I looked up at her, "well you aren't being fair!!" She stood up, "no, Jasmine. Just no." She walked out of my room, closing my door softly. I layed back and hugged my pillow and cried. This sucks.
