Story so far: After traversing the Graveyard, Mario winds up infront of a seemingly larger than normal ghost house. Believing that he can get to Bowser faster by going through the ghost house, Mario decides to go in...
Level 3
Just like in the real Mario Games, the ghost house was meant to be large and slightly puzzling. Ghosts will also start to appear. There are two ways to exit the ghost house. One is the normal exit and the other is the secret exit. There is no real benefit for taking the second exit except that you can find 5 1-ups and the Star Coin for this level. There are three red switches along the way; one in each room. The first switch activate a door that sends you to an area with a 1-up and the Flying Carrot (necessary for getting to the secret exit). The second switch reveals a door needed to get to the third room (the pipe is a trap door). The last switch reveals the regular exit. Alternitavely, if you have the bunny ears, you can glide down toward the secret path. Both ways lead to the same exit.
Boss: King Boo
If you thought that with a name like "King Boo's Pad" that there would be no boss, your running a bit slow.
Abilities:
Dash- King Boo will move to a random location.
Fireballs- King Boo spits out two blue fireballs that home-in on you.
Other elements:
Spring- There's something above King Boo, and the spring is the only way up.
Ghost line- A bunch of ghosts have gathered to see the fight and sometimes help their host by swooping in and atacking Mario.
Curtains and switches- Three curtains, three switches, what's behind each... somehow it's daylight.
Boss's weakness: His Heart, which is exposed in sunlight.
How to beat:
Make your way to the top floor using the spring, then hit a switch to open a curtain. If King Boo is caught in the sunlight, he'll fade away and reveal his heart. Touch it in any way and you'll damage him.
Story now- After the giant ghost disappears, Mario continues his journey. Somehow, he knows it only gets worse.
wait...he's exposed by the sunlight comming in...but it's day time. Besides this logic incongruity, looks cool.

MyAMBRETTA 1 year ago
