Temporary or not, there is no "success" in the surge. There is increased militarization of the occupation. That is not a success of any knind.

All of you wake up and smart up....it was/is the BRIBE money Bush paid to the insurgents NOT the bullscrap joking surge that result in reduce attack against the nazi U.S occupier. Leny, you look at it quite differently from the way I do. The US is not there to "help" other people because "they" want something. What they want is for us to leave. The US is there to help rich Americans get richer. That's why US soldiers are dying there. It's just that simple. This has been going on for 200 years.
