TANDEM AND ADVENTURE ISLAND FOR TWO DAYS

First time I sail with friends and tents and enjoy a day and a half on my TI and AI. Ride 40 miles in total. Great time and few things happened on the way: no beach where it was suposed to be one; a turtle saving; a rudder screw broken and a big problem with a cart....

Buen Video los felicito, tengo una pregunta, estoy por comprar un Hobbie y pues me gustaria tener la opción de poder navegar solo Y acompañado, el hobbie Tandem Island ¿se puede navegar solo? ¿es seguro? o de pronto si compro el EVOLVE y se lo coloco en la proa y yo voy del otro lado, ¿es factible?. ¿Alguna vez han navegado el Tandem solos? @fxignacio hola Ignacio. Encantado! gracias por el comentario. Con mucho viento no recomiendo salir solo en el TI. Es más, he tenido experiencias con mucho viento y novatos junto a mí y se hace un poco más complicado. Si vas a poner el evolve es porque tienes poco viento, puedes navegar bien desde cualquier posición (detrás o delante). Lo único es que entrada y salida al mar es un bote pesado, sobretodo a la salida. Por tanto, buen carrito y superficie muy lisa y no mucha distancia a carga.

@fxignacio si hace viento, el que va delante debe ir compensando viento con peso para una mejor navegación. el de atrás está al mando. Un patrón da instrucciones. La compenetración es fundamental. La presión sobre la vela hace más duro el manejo de las escotas y del timón. Todo se aprende. Buena suerte si te decides y no te digo nada de la envidia que me causa pensar los sitios por donde puedes navegar. Ánimo, es una aventura!

Muy buen video! Felicitaciones. Con este video noto que varias personas han tenido el mismo problema del timón. Yo recién compré un AI para usarlo en Cartagena - Colombia, y voy a estrenarlo pronto, pero primero voy a revisar los tornillos del timón y comprar otros para tenerlos en el Kit de repuestos. Sin embargo, les recuerdo que si se quedan sin timón, no hay problema, siempre pueden utilizar un remo como timón auxiliar. Saludos.

Con respecto al timón, ese es el objetivo: que otros puedan aprender de nuestras experiencias y sí efectivamente Tony utilizó el remo desde el asiento delantero para llegar a la costa. @abirim077 shalom, Yes Hobie is already "hands on" to sort the problem with the bolt. Now many people is advice of this, so they can do something about it before it happens.

@adame74 sí Adam, mira bien tu timón. Te recomiendo que lo desatornilles, lo limpies todo muy bien; te asegures de que todo queda bien plano (arandela también) y lo pongas todo perfecto de nuevo.

@HALIBU77 you are the first person I thought of when that happen. You told me about it. Later on, I was thinking that it was a problem with a plastic filling around the screw. What I don't really understand is why that piece of plastic I made pictures of and why there's no rudder screws in the rigging kit...? a great time anyway. A trip to remember and talk because I learnt quiet a few things.
