Atlantic records provided Barry with top-notch writers and musicians. In this case, it was Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman who wrote "A King For Tonight".

Wonderful song and wonderfully sung. First time I heard this song. Doc Pumus & Mort Shuman are great song writers who wrote lots of wonderful Elvis songs. Barry Darveli s great. Great video too. Thanks for this great share.
