Re-watching this with my mom...and now I remember why I HATED the second season, and I still hate it....It's because in this season, us viewers forgot WHY DMS loved Shancai in the first place or if he ever loved her at all. His heart should've remembered her and not his brain. I wish they should've focused on DMS with having no memory but still be able to feel that connection with SC but no...and I can't hate YS because she's nice...GOD...why!?!?!?!?

I know! I don't like Shancai as much in Meteor Garden 2, even though I still like Shancai + Daoming Si the best.

MG2 makes Shancai lame- they gave good scenes to Yesha. Like, it should be Shancai who jumped in to rescue DMS. so in character with MG1. she s reduced to a passive by stander waiting for things to happen. DMS & SHANCAI are REDUCED TO ANOTHER SOAP COUPLE HERE NOT THE ORIGINAL GUTSY SELVES.

if they would have made this happened earlier like in Ep.15 or something and cut all those useless scenes of Ye Sha and a Xing, and put more DMS-SC scenes, MG2 wouldn't have been so bad.
