Prelude to Te Deum by March-Antoine Charpentier on the Osmond organ of St Decuman's Church, Watchet.
I would like to thank John Guttridge for allowing me to practice on the instrument while I was on holiday. The organ is in need of some work, as the action is extremely heavy. The proposal is to electrify the action and move the console down into the quire, and also extend the trumpet down an octave to form a pedal trombone. A mixture for the great and swell is also planned. A donation link will be up here shortly. In this recording the bottom two notes of the 16' Open Diapason were not working, although I later managed to fix this! It turned out someone had left a sign leaning up against the pipe mouths stopping them from speaking!
Again, no proper sheet music, so this is mostly by ear. Loosely based on a performance I heard a few years ago.
Apologies for the recording, my phone doesn't cope that well with the great diapason chorus!
Hope you enjoy it! =]
@pianojosef Thanks, glad you liked it! =]

Wonderful, Daniel; wonderful ornamentation and solid rhythm on a beautiful organ that may not be the easiest organ to play, but the sound is worth all the effort!!
