2/5] Interviewer: "But I think it's the first time that you introduce yourself to French public today, you came in Paris like a rocket. Of course, we knew you, with the extraordinary competitions you have passed, a long time ago, in Geneve"
M: "In Geneve, 10 years ago, in 1957, next in Italy (Busoni competition in Bolzano) and after, it was in 1965 in Varsovia."
Interviewer: This is a harvest of realizations and triumph, for a young pianist like Matha Argerich..." (some words are metaphorical)

*clapping*
Interviewer: "But, as she is very nervous, and she's not familiar with talking in public, and as she appreciated very much the interpretation of Erick friedman of the Brahms 3rd sonata, she tought that she would play too a little bit of German romantic music:"
Martha: "the Sonata in G minor of Schumann"

5/5] The voice: « 3 years before her extraordinary recording of the 2nd Sonata of Schumann (in G minor, op 22), she was arriving in Paris with her restless fulgurances, she expressed a vision Astonishing of this sonata, a running to the abyss, incredible tempis wich found it's climax in the 2 last mouvements. It was the 9 of March 1968, we were in live, on France Music »

Interviewer: "I think, Martha Argerich, that it's more difficult to introduce yourself to the Parisian public than pass the international competition of Genève"
Martha: "Well, i don't know, it depends"
Interviewer: "you are afraid (nervous) tonight"
Martha: "Yes, because I don't like to talk, it's very difficult for me"

@kyleclef I wish I could! My French is alright on a good day, and I can understand chunks, so one of these days I'll caption the bits that I can comprehend. It would be great if a native/fluent French speaker could chime in, though....
