Some people get a inked at a young age or get what they think is "right" the first time around ...we all grow/change in many ways and our ideas on what we want in life or what makes us happy changes too. I can tell you from experience of getting tattoos in my teens that laser is definitely a procedure that is much more common than you might think and many people are happy it is an option.

THATS A FULL ON LIE!!! it is waaaaaaaayy more painful and costs roughly 3 times as much that the original tatoo
