Yes, it's because of the downscaling. These cameras just drop lines from the sensor to get down to the video resolution. Naturally, more lines are being dropped in 720p than 1080p.

I am 100% sure it's color moire effect, not aberation, and it is not a kit lens' fault. Even if you use a more expensive lens the result would be the same. You may want to experiment more with other lenses to see for yourself. In every case, good luck and enjoy your nice camera :)

Hm. Are you sure? Im not an expert according this but I always thought, the lines-stuff is moire and the bug with the colors is because of insufficient lens correction and the the consequence: different focuses of Red, Green and Blue.
But it's good to hear that it's not the lens' fault!

I don't see any chromatic aberration. I see some moiré on pattern textures, but that's pretty much it.

I dont know what it is - maybe it's the downscaling to 720p. I changed the title anyhow.

hast du etwa in full hd gefilmt? oO das ruckelt ja irgendwie schon recht stark.. oder liegt das am pc?

Ist in 720p. Ich kann nicht beurteilen, ob etwas ruckelt oder nicht, da mein Mac kein HD wiedergeben kann und einfach alles ruckelt.
Meine ganzen Videos sind "nach Gefühl" geschnitten und codiert.
