Film made during the final year of my degree, loose ramblings about celebrity obsession. I like it, though it's odd and sometimes rubbish.

  • thanks very much, the two characters are both along similar lines, both being people who've taken the one sided public-celebrity dynamic and fleshed it out into a more meaningful relationship for themselves, in their heads. it's kind of a shame twitter wasn't such a big thing back when i made this, that's really given an extra angle to the whole thing.

  • 0:44-0:51 feels kind of like a cleaned up version of something Bill Plympton would do.

  • @nalgasux thank's a lot, he's a bit of a hero.

  • The machines popping out the balloon people reminded me of Yellow Submarine.

  • Around 1:00 I felt like we'd fallen into a Tool music video.

    Quite entrancing.

  • i barely got it

  • @AfferatteDesign Cool,

My response was a bit long-winded and I was stuck in deliberation so I'll just say,

    thanks for the reply

  • Really cool,

the part I dont understand is the transition at 0:18.

Is the human-esque character a witness to that initial character's consumption->interaction with popculture, is he some sort of more "basic/primitive" lifeform who is overwhelmed by a more complex concept and becomes obsessed with it?

After that I have pretty clear interpretations of the rest and I really enjoy the ending.

This is a really creative and beautiful video, I enjoyed it, you did great

  • yep, you do acid

  • at last somethink fresh !

  • "Way similar to Bill Plympton" I thought, before reading that comment.
