Alecia Moore - aka 'Pink' - has been at it from the ripe old age of 14. Back then, she was performing at clubs in Philly, but after selling tens of millions of albums, she's now firmly entrenched on the world stage. Not satisfied to coast on her success, Pink began to get active. She wrote a song in 2006 entitled "Dear Mr. President" that was deeply critical of the Bush administration. She cares deeply about animal rights and has been involved in charity work to help clean up the environment. Pink joins us to talk about her road to the top and her latest album, "Funhouse".

  • I love her empathy. She seems like a very sweet and deep person. The world needs more people like Pink.

  • @Jopari444 exactly, people like her tend to completely forget how people are treated to get/make certain things

  • Funny, how many ppl discuss human rights here but seems to have something against a person because she defends animals rights! In my mind, she never said something against humans but made the choice to defend animals. How is that bad for human rights?

Love Pink! Many songs, fan of black metal but many of her songs helped me when i grew up realizing my parents life together was not as beautiful as i thought.:( She's a really deep song writer.

  • @katysweet13 People like you tend to assume that because people like her defend animal rights, they must not care for human rights. There are so many things that are wrong in our world and so many problems that need to be dealt with. One person can NOT fix them all. We need many different people to fight for many different causes and if that's what Pink decided to defend, then so be it. And btw, she has already spoken against abuses (like child prostitution for ex.) many times.

  • @Jopari444 But why could we not care about human AND animal rights?

  • @katysweet13 Omg! How long have you personaly known her :o !!!

  • I bet you she didn't know where she'd be on Christmas 2011 ;). Baby Willow!!!

  • isn't this show for people of substance?

  • I like the hell out of pink GREAT INTERVIEW!!

  • I am 55 and I love PINK. From her first song I felt like this person knew me and was speaking for me. Talented, she isn't full of bullshit, and I am so glad that she hasn't sold pictures of her daughter to mags like most of those idiots. I pity anybody who goes near that child.

  • @ducrozet74 First I was going to response with reason to you, but when I read that last sentence I realized there is no point reasoning with a person like you. You like little cuddly furry cute animals over actual human beings, childs. You are sick in the head, very sick.

  • @Jopari444 well someone has to stand up for animals rights, is it wrong if a person decides to do this??? you can help the human race AND help animals at the same time. so you think we should completely ignore the fact that animal torture goes on when it doesent have to?? im done with you because you are selfish. also what are YOU doing for the human race???? probably nothing. so you dont care about animals, well i dont care about humans much, i dont care if a 3 year old made my i-pod.
