Black Keys// A Nelena One-Shot

Nick's POV:
She was furious. Her face was stained with rage. She yelled cruel words at me before she stormed out and slammed the door loudly behind her. She was gone. I watched out the window as she speeded off in her car.

I sat down at my piano and started hitting the keys... I figured I would try the black ones and a little while later, it became something more.

Selena's POV:
I was fighting back tears as I got into my car and drove off. But soon enough, my sadness overwhelmed me and tears poured out of my eyes. Staining my shirt. I stopped at a red light. I tried to pull myself together. But to be honest. I felt pathetic.. I had just caught Nick making out with Miley.. My rival in Disney since Day 1. The light turned green and I started to drive again. But sure enough, in a matter of seconds, a drunk driver struck my car at full speed, knocking me off the road. I had my seatbelt on, so at least i wasnt flung out of the car. But the intense force caused me to jerk forward and I hit my head roughly on the dashboard. I felt the hot, sticky, blood trickle down my forehead to my face. Then suddenly, I blacked out.

Nick's POV:
I finished the song and added lyrics to it. Black Keys.. Perfect. To be honest, this song is for Selena. She's the Black Keys. The girls around me are the "perfect rainbows". The Black Keys have never been brighter. Stunning. Beautiful. Elegant. Compassionate.Intelligent. Graceful. Caring. Sincere. Talented. Passionate. The list goes on and on. The perfect rainbows have never been so.. dull. Boring. Etc.
But I ruined it. I tried making Selena into something she wasnt. She was amazing how she was. But I changed her. I tried making her "a perfect rainbow". But I now know that... "Sometimes you'll find, its better black and white" Meaning, I shouldnt have changed her.. She was perfect how she was. I was deep in thought thinking about Selena when Joe sent me a text. "Get ur ass to the hospital NOW!" I knew it was an emergency so I grabbed my coat and sheet music and got in the car and drove off. When I got there, Demi was in Joe's lap crying. Ashley was crying into Kevin's chest and Selena parents were crying their eyes out. I was now expecting my biggest nightmare and fear to come true.. Selena was hurt. They said she was in a coma... and she might not ever wake up... That crushed me. My heart was ripped out of my chest and torn up. My world came crashing down. By now, paparazzi were outside scrambling to get pictures. We all went into Selenas room to see her. She was laying there... Pale. Motionless. Lifeless. Basically.... Dead. The only love of my life. Gone from my grasp. She slipped out right out from under me. I guess seeing her like that was too much for everyone else so they left.. slowly... Until I was the only one left.. I hovered over her.. fighting off my tears of sadness, guilt, mourn, anger, regret, depression, you name it. I decided that, I whether she could hear me or not, I would let her hear the song I wrote her.

I heard nick. Every word... And I knew he loved me.. And I love him too. I tried my hardest to open my eyes and sure enough, the fluttered open. And from that moment on I knew something.
