[CHAPTER 3]

Back at the institute with the cutie "couple" and Emma, the things weren't going too good. Ashley had to put up with Joe for two whole hours, while Emma had to put up with Ashley and her complains. The launch time arrived and They went to the dining hall. Ashley and Emma sat together, and talked about their holidays. But then someone entered the dining hall, with lots of girls around screaming and freaking out. The crowd, was slowly moving towards the girl's table and as it was getting closer, Emma's face was changing to a frustrated and desperate face.

Emma: (shaking her head) oh no, no, no, no, no! please no!

Ashley was looking at her with a strange face, but soon she knew why she was like that. Her worst nightmare was coming towards her. The nightmare arrived at the table.

???: (to the screaming girls) hey, hey. You can leave now. Later you can come back to me.

He winked with a teasing smile and all the girls left still freaking out. Then he sat next to Emma, and his face changed from a cutie, smiling person to a jerk and "cool" person.

???: (picks a chip from Emma's plate) hi.
Ashley: hi Nick.
Emma: the chip was mine.
Nick: you want it back? (leans in to kiss her)
Emma: (turns her face around annoyed) no thanks.
Nick: Fine (continues eating her chips) you look hotter than the past year.
Emma: stop eating my chips! I'm hungry too!
Nick: (picks one and puts it in front of her mouth) open the mooouth..!
Emma: jeeze.. who you think you are?!
Nick: (eats the chip and lays one arm on the table, looking at her) Nick Jonas, baby.
Emma: jerk.
Nick: hey! Be careful.. I'm a HOT jerk. Got it? (continues with the chips)
Emma: (shakes her head, annoyed) will you stop with MY chips?!
Nick: nope.

He continued eating her chips, as if nothing happened, until he noticed that Ashley had hiccups. First, he thought of telling her to hold her breath for a moment, but then, he saw a familiar face behind her.

Nick: you want to get rid of your hiccups? (she nods) turn around.

She turned around, still having hiccups, and suddenly they stopped after looking who was behind her. Joe. She slowly turned around, to the table, and started laughing, with a desperate face. She crossed her arms on the table, and laid her head down. Joe sat next to her and high-fived Nick.

Joe: hey dude! What's up?
Nick: hey! Here, with my girlfriend.
Emma: I'm NOT your girlfriend.
Nick: you will...

He pulled her closer to him, and put one hand one her waist. Ashley felt his hand going down her waist to her bottom. She tried to pull him away, but she couldn't. Each time, he was getting closer, moving his lips towards hers. Before being too late, she had an idea.

Emma: you want chips?!

She took a bunch of chips with her hand, and pressed them against his mouth. Then, she pulled away, staring at him. He had his mouth full of chips that he couldn't talk. He slowly tried to swallow them, and once he finished, he took Emma's glass of water while she was freaking out.

Nick: yummy.
Emma: you're such a jerk.
Nick: (gives her the death look) HOT jerk.

Emma felt a shudder going around her body and then turned around looking at Ashley, how she was trying to pull Joe away. After a long time, the guys got tired of annoying the girls, so they stood up, but before, Nick whispered Emma something.

Nick: tomorrow I'm transferred to your class as I'm too smart. Bye baby.

Emma got a shock, looking at Ashley. Before leaving, Nick kissed her on the cheek, but she didn't notice it. She had something more important to care about. Joe also tried to do the same with Ashley, but he couldn't. The boys left while the girls just stayed there shocked.

Nick: Loser. You couldn't kiss her.
Joe: you're a jerk
Nick: you too.

They looked at each other, smiled wide, and high-fived, as they left towards home.
