Disassembling the Xbox 360 Slim™ console is tough and a pain to work with. A lot of gamers broke their console trying to disassemble the Slim and XCM are now releasing an X8 Unlock tool set (total of 8 pieces with special made screwdrivers) for opening Xbox 360 Slim™ consoles. It will be quite easy to open the Slim console with the correct set of tools now.

@Tylerstoessel #1. Video is not mine. It's from the manufacturer. And if you can't follow instructions, you shouldn't be doing disassembling. #2. It is the whole thing. #3. Why show how to put it back together? Just put it back the way you removed it.

how to make sure that you don't lose warranty? just like old phat consoles, there was hair dryer way to remove warranty sticker, is that similar way to make sure that you don't mess up warranty on new slim consoles?

These are great for opening xbox 360 slim! Great video. Very easy to open with theses tools. Got mind at Access Gaming 16.55 with shipping. opened 3 xboxes and fixed dvd jams.

Thanks! I had to fix a cd drawer that came off the track on my nephews xbox 360 black slim case. I used your video to access the cd / dvd / blueray drive and opened it and put it back on track. My Nephew is playing batman on it right now and it is working great. Both of us thank you!

I just wonder... where the hell is the 6th screw from chasis?

It works quite good, but you need to make sure they're all in right place which isn't the easiest at first. Worth if it don't want to damage case by using screwdrivers to force open though :)
