After "years of hard work and minimal results," frontman David Lewis says the members of pop-inspired rock outfit Me Verse You came together two years ago to try something new. "At some point in the process, we decided it was time to stop fucking around and start fucking around," he says. "So we try anything and everything to keep our fans stoked." They found a great place to start: recording a full-length with Matt Hyde (Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot).
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: They're not gonna accept anything but success for an answer. They've got a frenetic live performance complete with their own "small-production light show," and the lyrics to their song "Radio" could one day be prophetic ("The next time you hear from me might be on the radio"). "We want to make it worthwhile for you to get off your couch, put on those super-tight pants and come see an intense show," says Lewis. "We slay every stereotype associated with pop." - Alternative Press 260
