  • I'm sending this to CBC personally. I NEED to know why they aren't reporting. I'm going to record me presenting this.

  • @SGMDL : Hi, I would to advise you this multilingual video via cc button :

    - Dr Kodama, head of the Radioisotope Center at the University of Tokyo addressing the Japanese Government:

    [UT]/watch?v=O9sTLQSZfwo

  • 1 uSv per hour = 8760 uSv per year =~ 8.8 mSv per year, so really kids should not be living in an area that is higher than 2 uSv per hour, 5 uSv per hour for adults. But there are other factors - Iodine decays very fast, so an area with 10 uSv today can become 5 uSv in a month, so the total dose will not be too high. On the other hand, if you eat local outdoor greens or animals that were fed local grass, you can easily get much higher dose.

Also, it takes 1-2 Sv to kill, so > 1 000 000 uSv

  • Your video is popular on Cuba

  • @aigarius Certainly many more than 3 isotopes were released. It seems YOU do not WANT to talk about the truth.

  • hi japanese people I have in france my house to propose space for a new life without the degree of your country in radioactivity I haven t any money for your food in france but my house is mine and you don t pay any price for live in but you must have money for eating and live!!.......sayonara!!.......huss onshu!!......

  • @cbemerine And is you say that Fukushima is worse than Chernobyl, you clearly have absolutely no idea what you are talking about Fukushima released Iodine, Caesium and some Strontium into the atmosphere, the total amount being at least five times less than Chernobyl, but the key thing is that Chernobyl also released very heavy transuranic elements, chunks and uranium dust. That is something that contaminates for centuries.

Also 'stabilised' means cold-shutdown not full cleanup, that be 15 years

  • @cbemerine Search for Oak Ridge Molten salt thorium reactor, it was built and was in operation for 6 years with no trouble past some initial teething challenges. Nuclear is the safest power generation technology per-watt, even hydro has historically killed more people and taken over more land.

Any reference to Cesium-137 having such insane long half-life? None of the scientific journals have such nor any of the even recently updated radiological reference manuals.

  • @aigarius to the "thorium molten salt reactors" I know nothing of them. In all honesty, they sound like NRC media spin to placate the public so they can build more plants to "heat water" to "produce electricity". Based on my limited knowledge of Fast Breeder Reactors that were meant to "burn nuclear waste" they all sound insane. Even if the NRC promised 0 pollution, their credibility is 100% shot by all rational thinking individuals.

A more rational approach would be non-Nuclear energy.

  • @aigarius Sorry, but I know you are not correct, nothing personal, but many of us have been following Fukushima since 3/11 and have paid attention to the experts, lessons learned from 3MI, Chernobyl, among others. With the reality of the Cesium-137 from Chernobyl NOT decaying as expected, scientists have stated that instead of a 30 year half life, its more like a 180 or 300 year half life, based on proof, though they do not know why.

Fukushima is 10X worse and can NOT be stabilized in 1 year.
