  • Lovely organ! Who did the notation of the books? These are excellent arrangements. Thank you for posting this. I really enjoyed it.

  • The first book was notated by Tom Meijer, who did the second one I do'nt know, and the last was notated by Karl Frei.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it.

    Regards from the Netherlands.

    Arie.

  • @w4csc

We're waiting for your (annual) donation of at least 25.000 pounds. Then we don't have to "beg" anymore. Want my bank details?

  • The noisy begging destroys one of the most beautiful draaiorgels on the planet....

De Lekkerkerker is beautiful but there must be a way to fund it without destroying the music. That noisy can is horrible. As this wonderful instrument is manually cranked, why not trade donations for a turn at the wheel!

  • immer wieder schön

  • Hi Thijsie92 I checked the picture on my 1957 Columbia album of "The Thunderer" and that draaiorgel is De Arabier.Great sound!! Bob

  • I believe that although the album labelled the organ as "The Thunderer", it was actually "De Arabier" (The Arab). There's plenty of recordings of that around right here on YouTube. Maybe you can confirm my suspicions?

  • Superb instrument, one of my favourite orgeln.

    Vriendelijke Groeten van Fife, Scotland

  • Beautiful organ!Reminds me of another great organ I listened to 40 years ago...The Thunderer by G Perlee.

  • fantisticmo!!
