  • umm no. you don't twist. it tears the root system.

  • He is totally incorrect. You should never twist or lift up. You should always insert the tool at a 45 degree angle at the point opposite the direction the ball came from and then push the top of the tool forward. Repeat this all the way around the ball mark and then flatten the mark. This video should be removed for being so inaccurate.

  • This is a complete dis-service to golfers everywhere. ABSOLUTELY incorrect. Doing this will kill the roots and create a brown spot that takes 3 weeks to heal.
