ive been 2 times in thailand .
both in phuket. first time patong beach & phi phi island. second time karon beach:D
ive never been 2 krabi. but i think im going there this year:D
but 2 be honest i dont think you find a cheaper place than patong or karon.
but the most beutiful place in the world, is of course phi phi island :D

Sorry, that's simply not true. There are plenty of places in Patong that are cheaper than many places in Ao Nang in the way of accommodations and food. I lived in Ao Nang from early '93 to '96 and it's my least favorite place in Southern Thailand for many, many reasons. The locals aren't as friendly and many consider tourists to be nothing more than walking wallets.

Krabi is cheaper the Patong in Phuket...
I will return to Ao Nang again! :-)

You obviously don't know Phuket. Krabi is an over-priced, over-rated, extremely touristy mess. Phi Phi is a perfect example of what totally unregulated tourism can do to a formerly stunning destination.

No, if you're looking for whores try Phuket...or better yet your moms, she's probably cheaper than what you would find in Thailand anyways...
There are a lot of Muslims in Krabi, Trang and Satun provinces
