Linked brakes are for sure disabled on freds bike

I think these bikes have linked brakes which engage both front and rear, whether you use the pedal or front brake. I have a 2003 and the linked brakes are safe but annoying sometimes.

he was obviously trying to confuse the camera man by indicating left and turning right.i wonder if he used to use this old racers trick when he was in his prime?

@nimlil wow, that's by far the most insightful answer I've received. Thanks for taking time out to answer me. Much appreciated.

@aminevich Some riders use the brake to set the bike while still on the throttle. Most people are taught to use gas, then coast , then back off the gas then brake. Each individually. Racers use everything and interweave them, So although you may see the brake lite on. It may not mean he is fully braking. Freddie also has this creamy smooth style of rolling off the gas and slowly appling the brake at the same time so as not to upset the bike. He rides faster with one hand then most do with two!

Buying a hammer does not make you a carpenter. Freddy is a carpenter, I just have a hammer.
