A video about Lyme disease. What is it? How can you get it? Why should you keep an eye out for ticks? Alberta's Top Doc Dr. Andre Corriveau, and Top Vet Dr. Gerald Hauer answer these questions and offer suggestions on how to best protect yourself against infection.
This video misleads viewers to think that you've only been infected if you have a rash. Canlyme.com suggests that less than 50% of people have a rash. If you've been bit by a tick and you wait until symptoms appear (weeks or months later) and you wait for a rash before you see a doctor, you've waited too long.
This video also suggests that acquiring Lyme disease in AB is rare, when in fact it is increasingly more common.

An excellent video on this topic. Guess wearing shorts of cut offs could put a person at risk?
