you dont need to belt out the super loud high notes to be a good singer!
He was one of the most unique singers on that show.
he could put out a record like Jason Mraz, because people love that kind of voice.
he is amazing in his own way, and he deserved the spot that he got.
its also called american idol for a readon not americas best singer, its about the whole package not JUST how well you sing.

its a singing competition and his whole package made him a one trick pony that made it to the top four only to forget his words having messed up many classics along the way. and better to belt than have to whisper everything. i personally dont like jason mraz i know that some people do, but you cant tell me in a cometition of a hundred thousand people jason castro is the best.

there were many better packages than him.

so how come when David Archuleta forgot his words nobody cared ? oh and brooke white? how come when jason messes up everyone goes crazy and takes as spaz on him but then for everyone else its okay ??
and I never said Jason Castro was the best, David Cook deserved to win, and Jason Deserved to get where he was! thats why he is there, because people liked him and wanted him to be.

haha your talkin to the wrong people i DID care about that quite a bit. i hated archuleta. i loved brook but i thought she should've gone sixth or fifth. but when you have a girl forgetting her words and starting over and in the same week you have jason completely MURDERING a sacred broadway song, and that week the best contestant (who was also the best of that week) goes home, america has a problem. jason is lucky people like him, he isnt good enough to back up being fourth.

somewhere over the rainbow was stolen right out of a commercial. and thats the thing, jason had two good songs and was forgetable every other week, vs people like cook, carly, and mj who were good EVERY week. people like that deserve it more, jason got lucky twice. and the masses agree with me that he deserved lower, so continue to live your delusional life. and do me a solid and not vote this year.

I didnt say those were he only good performances, I said those two would go down in idol history, jason was amazing almost every week!
and obviously the masses werent that many because jason DID make it to 4th place!

the voting system makes it so people can get like 400 votes out of 1 person (ive done it before) so its better to have a handful of fanatics then like 400 fans who vote once. Jason and Archuleta for the most part were hated but their fans were extremely die hard. and he was forgettable every other week not amazing, that was my point in saying that. my point still stands, according the majority jason wasnt considered great and most believe he should've gotten as high as he did
