Glenn Beck discusses the intellectual merits of Joe Klein, from Time magazine, and his blog, Swampland, while imitating a similar pompus elitist. During this episode (no in this snippet), Glenn recommends the book, "A Patriots History of the United States." Glenn reiterated a principle, pointed out by Andrew Melon, with examples (Opra, Bono of U2, Michael Moore, etc), that higher taxes drives the money underground resulting in the RICH actually paying LESS taxes. He also gave a presidental history lesson which discussed the the most prosperous 8 years the US has experienced (roaring-20's) and the money inflow that occured due to the shrinking of government and taxes by Presidents Harding and Coolage.
