Mating macaws

Only parrots from the American continent mate like this, other parrots like Cockatoos the male mounts the female like a normal farm rooster and a hen

They would not be "muts" they will be hybrids, and it is an species now called Ara catalina.

Because of illegal trading of these animals, more than 7 species of macaws are already extinct.

Hybridizing parrots poses a threat to captive species.It literally changes their natural appearances and genes which is irreversable. As a bird lover I think it goes against conservation efforts. Bird owners should consider prolonging a future for a parrot species they like not just invent these unnatural mutations. Thats my opinion.

My family has a pair of Macaws and we're hoping they mate someday...then i wondered: How exactly did they mate?
