4 years ... I've been waiting 4 years to see this ... and when it happened I swear I couldn't breathe and I'm pretty sure that my heart stopped beating for a second ... ALL THE OSCARS TO ALAN RICKMAN!!!!!!!!
The prince's tale was the most heartbreaking thing that I had ever seen and I hope this little video made justice to the awesome work of editing used in this scene.

I cannot believe that Alan Rickman was able to portray a man who was once a ruthless, cruel potions master that everyone hated to portraying the same man as a hopeless, determined romantic that everyone loves. If he isnt given an oscar, the world is made of mayonnaise.

@Miakosamuio He made Neville's life hell because if he had been The Chosen One (as it was between him and Harry), Lily might still be alive. Not that that's any justification but it wasn't "because he wasn't a Death Eater".

@1Navaron1 I read that too, it was the nickel or something. :P It would have been nice if his eyes were green like in the books, but oh well.

I read that Daniel Radcliffe was allergic to contacts or something...they made his eyes all watery and swollen. So they didn't give him contacts.

@1Navaron1 yes I read that too but I mean ... They make incredible things with computers today, they could have changed it digitally since it was important for the story.

@Ziver92x Today they do. I dunno if you remember the Quidditch matches from the first movie, but there's no way they could've done anything with his eyes back then. CGI was just becoming popular.
