Awesome - glad someone posted this. I happened to be in Jacksonville last Saturday May 17 (I'm from L.A.) and caught his last full start in the minors for the Suns. He was dominating hitters then... knew he'd be up soon for the Dodgers.

I saw this game on their home channel. Man, I may not have grown up during the time Sandy Koufax ruled the pitching mound, but after watching this Kershaw kid do his thing in his official MLB debut at Dodger Stadium I feel like I totally understand to excitement and electricity a pitcher like this brings to the game!!! Hope he winds up forging his own legacy with this team. Definite BIG-TIME ace in the making right here...

i remember when he went to my high school...god he was the most amazing pitcher i have ever seen go through there

the best part about this start is a couple batters after schumaker...Kershaw through a breaking ball to pujols that he gave up on and it bent back in for a strike...but he decided to do the same thing next pitch and pujols ripped a double...still pretty talented to fool pujols
