This is a video of a lighting design I did to the song Wild Signals by John Williams from the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
The light show opened up a concert for the Berkshire Symphony Orchestra at the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The director wanted a show that was reminiscent of the one in Spielberg's movie.
For those who are curious, the console I used was an ETC Expression 3 with Emphasis. The show was completely timed with effects cues, subroutines, and macros.
